[Product Overview]:

BTMS 50 is a behenyl (C22) cationic quaternary ammonium conditioning emulsifier, with about 50% quaternary ammonium salt activity, which brings a significant thickness to the emulsified formula paste.

As a C22 methyl sulfate quaternary ammonium salt, it is more hydrophobic in nature and makes it easier for cationic positive charge ends and lipids to deposit on the hair than conventional C18 quaternary ammonium salts, thereby providing better conditioning performance. At the same time, the hydrophobicity and deposition behavior of BTMS50 give the product excellent dry hair combing properties, excellent conditioning without the need for deposition with other polymer quaternary ammonium compounds, and strong convenience in formula application. As a base emulsifier and conditioning agent, BTMS 50 has a wide range of applications in hair care and skin care.
